No one blew bubbles

No one blew bubbles

My sister was married this weekend (on site) and no one blew bubbles after she was married!!! I kinda thought this would happen because at my wedding no one threw the rose petals (thank god I did not spend alot of time on the petal cones!)

Anyway...JMO...do not spend alot of time on decorating your bubbles or making petal cones...unless you are getting married in a church! LOL!

I had bubbles at my first wedding and nobody used them! They did entertain my cats for weeks after the wedding though

That happened at my friend's wedding too, and they did get married in a church. We didn't do anything b/c we did the sparklers at the end of the night--maybe it was slightly weird but the only thing we were allowed to do was bubbles and the way the front of our church was I don't think it really would have worked that well anyway....

I don't understand why this happens. No one threw the petals in the petal cones at my wedding either! AND I spent a ton of time making them and burning my fingers with hot glue . And at a friend's wedding, no one blew the bubbles she had handed out during her ceremony. What do people think the bubbles/petals are for??? After our ceremony, while we were taking pics, we were finding our petal cones still filled with petals stuck in bushes and left on chairs

no one really blew bubbles at mine either but I think it was b/c there was another wedding entering and everyone was rushed.

A few of the bridal party members did and the girls starting complaining that it was staining their taffeta dresses - so my bubbles were a waste

yeah, I'm a little concerned of this happening. Even tho my wedding WILL be at a Church, it's also during Christmas time so i'm expecting it to be pretty darn cold!! I'm not sure how many people are gonna stick around afterwards, while we're inside taking a few pics. I'm using bird seed. I'll probably just put 'em in some tulle and not put TOO much work into it.

People will stick around until you come out, that is what has happened at every wedding I've ever been to. I think you just need someone to tell people to start doing it, whether it's a family member, someone in the BP, or get your family to start the throwing, people will get the hint!

i went to a wedding with bubbles and no one blew them! i was the only one (and wasnt making that much of a difference with my 5 bubbles coming out). i felt so bad! i was venting to DH how much work goes into this stuff and for people to ignore it is rude!

My favorite picture is of us coming out of the church and the petals flying around. We lloked so happy.
I would speak to your photographer. My photographer told them when to throw it. He asked us to wait and then told everyone on the count of three or once we walked they threw it.
So I would just make sure your photographer does it, if you worked hard at making or buying these things.

I had 24 bottles of bubbles and a dozen rose petal cones that no one threw after we got married. It was raining so no one threw them- I was so upset because I wanted it to be thrown. Oh well!

yes my photographer orchestrated the entire thing. he told everyone what to do and when to throw. he even counted down for them! lol he showed me a quick picture on the camera and it looks awesome!

Re: No one blew bubbles

this sort of happened at our friends wedding...the people from the rh handed them out before the ceremony started (it was outdoors)...then some people started blowing them then...which was stopped.

but then people sort of forgot as everyone was walking out...i guess because they were focusing on other stuff. i had the camera and fh had the bubbles so i made him do it....eventually people caught on but then it was just bubbles at the end and mostly like just while everyone was standing around.

that's true. Nearly every wedding I've been to, it's always the photographer who does a little countdown or whatever and gets the people to throw (or blow) stuff. At my friends wedding, the photographer & videographer practically ran the entire wedding. If it wasn't for them, NOTHING woulda happened, i mean like cutting the cake, the toasts. NOTHING. That was weird.

I agree with you. At the wedding I just saw,t he photographer directed everyone when to throw the petals. It was at a church though.

My RH said that people should blow the bubbles inside as we walk back up the aisle after we are married and I thought it was weird but it makes for great pictures.

Us either We didn't really get the 'money shot' Maybe our pro pics will reveal a better one but here is what we ended up with. The weather put a damper on things.

Re: No one blew bubbles

i would say our guests did a good job of blowing the bubbles. Just make sure to tell your BP to please blow the bubbles or throw the petals. They are the ones on the side of the steps and right next to you when coming out so its even more important for them to do it. As long as they do it then its good.

Most others on the side will be taking pics, so not that they are being rude but they just want to get pics of you coming out. This is why its even more important to ask your bp to make sure they do it bc they wont be able to take pics, since they definitely come out in the pics would look weird haha

Re: No one blew bubbles

As soon as we walked out the church my bridal party started throwing the petals and I was like 'Wait no not yet!!!' ..lol.. I cant remember if my photographer gave me the ok or not but we walked to the bottom of the stairs and then I said..oh alright just throw it people!
So we just stood still while everyone threw the petals at us... cant wait to see how the pics look..lol

You know! I think you're right. I just blew like $30 on bubbles and I don't even feel like bringing them now. We're getting married at the HALL and unless it's outside that day, I can't see peeps blowing bubbles

We went to a wedding at an Indian Restaurant and nobody blew bubbles!
