This is my biggest fear!!! FH and I don't live together so we're hoping for only registry gifts at the shower (although I KNOW this won't be the case).
Well, maybe you'll get a ton of personal gifts that are wonderful!

Does somebody have your password? I've heard that some BM's stole passwords and were 'updating' registry's so the bride had no idea what she was getting. Maybe that's what is happening?

I can so see my friends doing something like this....

My registry is kind of slow too...i think some people see what you registered for and then go to outlets or century 21 etc and try to get it for a bargain.

My shower was two weeks ago and barely anything was purchased up until the afternoon of the shower and things went FLYING off the registry......NOT that I was looking or anything.......
So maybe you have last minute shoppers.....which is actually better.....it's a total surprise for you!!!!

Mine is very slow too. Some stuff has come off my BBB but nothing off Fortunoff or Crate and Barrel. I'm get nervous too. Hopefully we just have late minute shoppers.

Awww this is what I'm afraid of too! and theres ANOTHER reason to NOT PEEK!!!! TISK TISK! Seriously though- DONT worry about it. People will buy off the registry for the wedding too. But in the meantime DONT PEEK! I stopped looking at the registry MONTHS ago so I'm clueless and happier that way

Hang in there, you may be very surprised, sometimes people who are running a shower make sure it does not come off the registry so this way the bride cant peek,they did that with one of my girlfriends anyway.... Most people do buy off of of the registry, but some older people are dead set against it, dont know why... We received about 95% of our gifts off of it, I was shocked. A few other gifts came, but we love them they were monogrammed towels, A lighthouse for outside of our house and things like that. We also received about 725.00 in gift cards. Actually the gifts are still rolling in for the ones who could not make it.....Your shower will be just so amazing and will fly right by trust me, I wish I could tell you what I did 1/2 of the night it just went by way to fast, so dont worry and all will be just perfect for ya......
