No one is coming to my wedding.

This is my fourth day of responses coming in and it seems like more NO's than YES's. I mean, everyday YES's have come in, but everyday NO's have come in, too. I know there were some people that we definitely knew weren't coming b/c they are out of state of whatever... but still-- it's disappointing. We only invited about 115 ppl to begin with. Why doesn't everyone want to come to our wedding?

i'm sorta in the same boat... we are getting a lot of 'no's'. even aunts and uncles on fi's side that said they were coming all along. fh's cousin's daughter was supposed to be a flowergirl, but dropped out 1 1/2 MONTHS before our the wedding!!!

the people who really want to be there will, and those who have a sh*tty excuse or no excuse for not coming shouldn't be there anyway... just my honest and b*tchy opinion.

I hope everything works out. We had a ton of no's and I didn't think we would make our 100 minimum but somehow we just made it exactly. We didn't find this out till after our RSVP bc some were late.

I'm in the same boat. I wish my mother had been more honest about who would come and who was just a courtesy invite. I would have added more people -- like my college advisor, who I can't invite now because school is out of session and I don't have his home address.

At this point we are expecting 140-150 out of 240 invites! We have 104 confirmed and 92 outstanding. If have the remaining people come I'll consider myself luck!

Blah!

If I had known we were going to have this many people we could have done it in a nice place.

That's the problem-- our families are so small, that the orginal list was the B list. Haha, okay it's not that bad. I was able to tack on a few extras that I'm sending out tomorrow. It probably just seems worse than it is. I'm sure in the end we'll have about 14 people.

I'm sorry to hear that. Can you invite anybody else you want to invite now that you know they are people who are not going to make it your wedding? Like a B list or something. I know that you want your family there but you can always add in people.
