I thought we were having one but FH just spoke with his family (they were going to host it since my family hosted the engagement party) and his family doesn't want to spend the money on that (they're putting the money towards the RH though so that's nice)
... i am just a bit disappointed ... i was really looking forward to having one.
anyone else not having one?

I was just thinking about this today....I am probably not having one since we are having the rehearsal at the RH right before, our entire wedding party is our kids, and we are BROKE!! We do have a lot of OOT guests so we could have a 'thank you' dinner but I'm leaning towards not.

I think if you're having a rehearsal, you sort of have to have SOMETHING afterwards for the people who make the effort to be there. Otherwise just seems rude. However, if you think everyone can handle it, you can probably forego the rehearsal altogether. Maybe just you and FH meet with whoever is marrying you alone to go over it all. Or just invite the BM/MOH and take them out for a little dinner afterwards.

We didn't have one. We had no rehearsal until minutes before the actual ceremony because we got married at our RH, so we didn't bother with a RD.
