No 'relations' till wed night!! :-o

I just read an article in People magazine that has couples avoiding 'sex' before they get married... (They've already had sex, but have decided to wait until their wed night...) The practice is actually being dubbed 'revirginization!' lol!! Granted I only have a little ways to go before the big day, I think I may suggest it to my FH. He'll probably keel over or something... Is anyone else planning on 'saving themselves' for the big night?

I have proposed to my Fh that we stop 3 months before the wedding, so far I've only gotten him to commit to 2 weeks!!

We have decided to try to abstain for 2-3 months. We have lived together for almost six years and this is going to be very hard. The good thing is that we want kids right away so we will have a lot of fun trying to get pregnant after the wedding!!!!!!

We are also refraining from sex...We are getting married May 17th and will 'stop' the last day in April.
Like Crisco said, we want kids right away also so we will have plenty of fun trying on our honeymoon!

We will be refraining from sex for 3 months before the wedding. FH doesn't know this yet. I'm sure he will be thrilled. I figure there is no need to tell him now. We have 6 more months of sex to go.

We did it and as hard as it was it was so worth it. The excitement alone makes it so much better.

... well, I think that few days right before the wedding is so much going on, and so many people showing up that I don't think that one can have to much time to make love, but besides that I don't think I want to practice abstinece!

For us, it can actually add more stress to those already stressfull days.

were going for it too! 1-2 months, we cant decide! also, we are trying to decide if we have to abstain from EVERYTHING or what is within the boundaries?

I think I'm going to suggest it to FH, but I HIGHLY DOUBT that he will go for it. He has NO will power when it comes to this!!

OK...I spoke to FH a little while ago and told him the 'idea'... After laughing hysterically, he said he would do it, if it's something I really wanted to try, that it would be hard, but it could be a cool thing. So after a week or two, we haven't discussed when the 'cut-off' date is, we may actually give it a go...lol

I just spoke to FH about it too and his exact words were 'I'm not abstaining from anything' and he called me crazy a few times. So, I guess its out for us

I'm working on 3 weeks...I think when you live together/sleep in the same bed every night it's cool to do something to build up to the wedding night!

I think er're going to try 2 weeks before. We were going for 1 month but it seems like the more we talked about abstaining the more we wanted to do it!! I'm also moving home(we live together) but we haven't decided on when I should do that. Maybe a week before...what do you all think?

Sha - I think moving home for one week would be fun. Then you'd actually be leaving home and going to him. And, in reality, the final week will be so hectic it won't even feel like that long!

The first time we met with the Deacon marrying us he suggested that we don't do anything for 2 months!! He took us off guard and we said OK! He also said that he can't 'check-up on this' (thank god!) but to do it for ourselves. We talked about it afterword and we are going to do it! We just have to decide where to draw the line....nothing at all, or some stuff is OK...still deciding, but it should be interesting!
