This may be a dumb question, but if I'm only having a FG and no RB, what happens with the rings? Do I still get a little pillow for them? Who is responsilbe for them during the ceremony?

You don't put the real rings on the ring pillow anymore (at least I wouldn't...do you really trust a small child with the wedding rings?!?) Typically the best man would be responsible for your ring from FH and the maid of honor will be responsible for your FH's ring from you. The best man can put it in his pocket and the MOH on her finger. HTH

Oh ok. Thanx. I figured that I had it all wrong in my head but it's just one of those things that I always wondered and never asked about. I'm having a Greek Orthodox ceremony so I wonder if it's different.

we have no RB either... so the MOH and BM will be responsible for each other's rings

I would have liked to have one, but we really dont have anyone who could do it. FH has a few young cousins, but neither of us are really that close with them and I really wanted someone I felt comfortable with.
My FG is my cousins daughter and even though I am positive that she will do just fine (she has such a great personality for a 2 1/2 year old), in the event that she does start acting up, I'm totally comfortable knowing that my cousin will do what she has to do to make sure it doesnt ruin the ceremony.
I've heard horror stories about RB's and FG's who have been monsters on the wedding day and then the parents pretty much do nothing about it.

I'm having a FG and no RB....if I did, I would never trust a young kid with real rings! lol The MOH and the BM hold them now in most cases.

We're not having a RB either. We'll probably give the rings to 1 of his best men. We would've had a RB, but we don't have any nephews or other close boys to us.

i have a fg and rb ...my rb will not have my rings. The rings will be with my mom and then she will give them to the preist to give to us.

Funny Im the exact opposite. NO flower girl but a ring bearer. I swear my family and Fh's family only has boys!! LOL
