No ring for my engagement shoot

I will not be wearing my e-ring during my engagement shoot because one of the stones was loose and it has to get fixed.

i'm not sure. i am going to try to see if the jewelry store will give me a loaner like mine (if they have it) for the shoot while they fix mine. i don't want to reschedule because I already took off from work. hmm.....

But a loaner wouldn't be the same, you would always know that wasn't 'your' engagement ring.

honestly don't worry..how many pictures can they possibly take of it, and besides..no1 will notice but you. I'd go out and buy a fake one to wear

yea I guess I shouldn't worry too much about it. Silly ring. I just wish it didn't loosen up THIS week haha. Oh well.

switching my days is hard with school schedules and such so i was so happy when i was able to get off this sunday. darn ring

Kohl's has some really nice fake rings -- I found one that looks exactly like my ering and wedding band, actually! I don't know what yours looks like but it could work as a substitute. Just let the photographer know it's not your real ring and he won't go with too many close-ups of the ring.

I would explain the sitation to the jeweler and see if maybe they could put a rush on it or if they could just remove the loose stone and give it back to you for the day.

i wouldnt let it ruin it for me... get a fake and just have the photographer get a few extra ring shots day of to make it up...JMO

I talked to my photographer and she told me that for the pictures, she was going to concentrate on fh and i and the ring really didn't matter so that made me feel better. i don't think that it will be really noticeable that i am not wearing my e-ring. i will be wearing pretty fancy costume jewelry that fh got me haha. Thank you girls for all of your thoughts and words...I must say I did freak out for a second there but I am all good now Maybe the jeweler will help me out and give me a ring to wear the day of or something but if they don't, its no big deal.
