Maybe they are sending something from your registry or from somewhere else? I mention this as I had someone mail me a gift certificate from a gardening place.... We ended up getting stuff for our garden..It was a total surprise, and original. Just send a Thanks for sharing the day of my shower with me card, and if something turns up, I would send another card.

Some times things happen, although it's not right. I'd still send a thank you telling them you were happy they came out to celebrate with you.

I had two people not show up and never send anything. And they never called to say why they werent coming. We had non gifters and no shows at our wedding. Im on the fence about sending them a thank you.

we had a friend that showed up to our eparty and didn't give a gift. we still sent a thank you.

Let's just say my parents threw us a realyl nice e party, and we got NADA from the FIL's! Not even a card!!! SO I did not send them a TY card and FMIL b!tched about it!! Um, hello???? P.S- We never got a congratulations or card from them

the first shower i ever went to i accidentally sent it to their house instead of having it delivered to my own house. I was SO embarrassed not to come with a gift, but told the bride ahead of time!

Really, who goes to a shower without a gift? Even FH and his frat brothers brought gifts to the baby shower they were invited to. And don't even ask why a bunch of frat guys were invited to a baby shower.
