FI's best man and my MOH are not fans of public speaking ,so we have elected not to have any speeches at the wedding. Is anyone else not doing speeches? Is this bad etiquette ?

in my opinion, it's totally OK to skip them. i'd never notice. i usually can't hear the speech anyway!

this is just my opinion, but i like them. its just like a minute or two of your time and you get to hear some really sweet words from the people who love you best. My sister is my MOH and she hates public speaking, but she will still give my speech.

I think it's fine to skip them. It's your wedding and you can do whatever you want! I think we are also skipping them.

Thanks everyone, I wasn't sure if it was bad etiquette to skip them I feel better about it now.
