I think it depends on what products you're looking at. I know a lot of products that are fat-free or sugar-free contain a lot of chemicals that might not be that healthy...

Better for what?? That's kind of a broad question.

I was talking about weight loss.... I was just wondering if I wanted to eat something 'sweet' which would be the better one to eat with less calories.

I always thought that fat-free was better but I know that the South Beach Diet says that sugar-free is better for weight loss. I don't like to eat to many sugar-free things though because they aren't natual.

Fat free tends to be higher in sugar content (have to put something in there to make it taste good once you take the fat out). I would say that it depends on the snack - balance out the calories and fat content and sugar content if that's a concern, and just decide which one has more of what you're looking for. It really depends on what type of weight loss program you are following.

No sugar added means natural sugars in whatever items are in there. Sugar free usually means that a sugar substitute is used. Fat free has absolutely nothing to do with the sugar or calorie content whatsoever.

Hope that helps.
