I went dress shopping yesterday and I fell in love with 2 dresses. Neither one had tags on them so I can do my research on the dress and I can show people my dress online. Did anyone else run into this problem?

Re: No Tags in Dresses
Seem stores definitely cut the tags out. If you can describe the price point and style, I bet we can find it. I know this happened to a lot of girls, and we have located them in the past

Don't you hate that! I've found the smaller salons do it so you won't order the dress elsewhere. I would try and post picture or discription here to see if anyone can help

I would just ask the salespeople the name of the gown...and made sure to right it down.

Re: No Tags in Dresses
That happened to me at bridal elegance. the saleslady wrote them on her card but wouldn't tell me which i thought was weird. she wouldn't write it down for me either. I didn't like that. i took a glance at it though. I'd just call the store up again and ask them. You need to research them if you want to get one of them for sure.

The cut the tags out so you cannot go and try to find it somewhere else for less.

Re: No Tags in Dresses
they did that at princess bridal, trying to tell me it was a couture gown for my mom... good thing I remembered the color she said and I found it at RK bridal!!
edit: and it was $200 cheaper at RK!

Re: No Tags in Dresses
Just a hint, and it doesn't always work, but sometimes they forget to cut out the strings that they use to hang the dress on. Sometimes the designer's name is on there! It's worked for me!
ETA: A lot of times, calling and asking or asking the salesperson will not help. They will refuse to tell you or dance around it. This is why I was so pleased with Paradise Bridal and Village Bridal- they played NO such games!
