no way

Re: no way

OMG that is soooo wrong in sooo many ways....It is bad enough that teenage girls are wearing tons of makeup and trying to look older.....That is ridiculous that they would make a dress like that and sell it to highschool girls....I dont think any parent in their right mind would let their daughter wear that out of the house, or even pay money for that.....

That would be better with a turtleneck underneath!

Absolutely NOT!!! My DH would never even let ME wear that (whether or not I had the body for it). It's profane and begging for the absolute wrong kind of attention for a 17 yr old.

Oh! On the Today show the designer stated that the dress you posted...he got that inspiration from a model trying on one of his dresses backwards.....i kid you not.

Oh, I'm sure there'll be girls buying it. Strippers perhaps?

Actually that's kind of mean to say. That's a trashy dress, even for a stripper.

Strippers arent Trashy... That is an UGLY dress to begin with and not appropriate for a child who goes to the prom. Thats what this thread is about.

If I had a daughter, there is NO WAY in hell she would be allowed out in that dress. How inappropriate!!!

Re: no way

OMG!! NO WAY would my daughter even be allowed to ask about that dress!!!

However, if I have the kind of relationship with my daughter as I have with my mom, she would try it on in the store so we could have a good laugh

I believe if you raise a daughter with confidence and self respect, she wouldnt want to go out looking that like.

yeah and if she thought that she would even get out the door in that...

Re: no way

I would never let my kid wear that.. And she would not be allowed to think or act on her own ever again if she tried! (when I have kids ofcourse)

Re: no way

What school would allow a child to attend the prom wearing that dress? I know mine wouldn't.... She'd be wearing the principal's suit jacket all night!
