No, your children are not invited

No, your children are not invited

I really, truly can't believe how many people actually ask if they can bring their kids. Don't they realize that they are putting the bride and groom in an uncomfortable position by even asking? I feel terrible that we have to tell people no but COME ON!

Yikes...I just got asked by one of my gays if he could bring his new boy from NYC to my Shower since he is going to be in town.

Uh, no?

Ugh so annoying! I wanted an adult only reception but there are so many kids in my family & FH's family, we just couldnt do that.
Hopefully people will start realizing and stop asking you!!!

I can understand close family members asking but not friends

ironically, I got asked the same question by my gay bestie! I'm like first off your going to be the only guy there, and secondly you don't bring dates to a shower!!

OMG. I'm going throw the same situation. I do not have a problem telling people that there are no children invited. I already told my cousin that if they want to come to my wedding they need to get a babysitter because the location does not accept kids. I'm so bad but I do not care. They need to understand that is a wedding not a birthday party..

That is annoying! I hope people don't start asking me that - but I know they will. I have my 'No' on automatic already.

That is SO obnoxious. I don't care if you're relative or a friend, I would have no problem telling them NO!

FSIL is pregnant and supposed to give birth in March, and I made it clear to FIL that i don't want to see/hear this baby at the wedding. It's a WEDDING. Not a gymboree.

If you have kids, its your responsibility to figure out what to do with them.

I don't understand this? I have a 4 year old son and there is NO way I would bring him to a wedding/adult event. Parties like this are FH and I's ADULT time. We take full advantage and make sure we find a sitter MONTHS in advance!!! If we couldn't find a sitter, only one of us would go.

people suuck Seriously, DON'T feel bad, they should feel bad for even asking if their kids weren't invited on your invitation.
