that my husband changed his last name to mine at work..we both work in the same place and there were a few girls who sent a mass email saying their name had changed after their wedding so dh sent his out and everyone thinks its a joke. helloo people this is 2005 its not unheard of that he took my name

A friend of mine did that! We all thought the priest made a mistake...turns out at the reception they explained that the Bride only had Sisters so as an incredible gesture to her Father the Groom took his last name to carry on through generations.
I will always remember that...it's so romantic in a way...

I know someone who did that to. They guys name was very hard to pronounce so he took his fiance last name instead!
