Is anyone thinking of doing a non-floral centerpiece? I am thinking of candles because I like the romantic glow in a room lit by candlelight. Anyone else doing anything non-floral?

I am not doing flowers for my cp...I am having branches with hanging crystals and snowflakes, with candles at the bottom. It goes with my winter wonderland theme.

We used non-floral CP's at our wedding-- this is a shot of one on the slipper table-- we had extras so they were used around the room-- it was navy blue fabric pooled in the center of the tables with the candles on it:

I like the centerpieces that are branches with hanging candles... I may look into them for my wedding.

We went with tons of candles-- even our place cards were candles-- see my review for more pics.
it was really beautiful and everyone took the candles from teh CP's home-- it's so fun to see our CP's in peoples houses!!

I am using candelabras with scattered rose petals on the table.
i ordered the candelabras from thecenterpiecestore.com and the taper candles from ebay.
My florist is putting it all together the day of the wedding so i dont have to worry about set up of my DIY centerpiece

FH and I are having candle centerpieces as well. We are using wine bottle candleabras.

half our tables will be flowers, the other half are floating candles in tall cylanders with one orchid anchored with pebbles. it looks so pretty,

I am using 3 gold and red goblets of varying sizes on each table, with candles in the bowls, and rose petals and holly strewn on the table.

I am doing white ostrich feather cps in eiffel tower vases with vase lights
not sure where I am getting them from yet...if anyoe has ideas let me know

wow everyone has really good ideas! I am def going to use candles and I will try to incorporate my peacock feather into my centerpieces as well! The orchid centerpiece mentioned sounds beautiful!
