non-mushy daddy daughter dance

Ok. My future cousin to be is getting married this saturday. Her father is refusing to dance with her to every single song she suggests. She has triend butterfly kisses. I hope u dance, etc. I need to come up with some more upbeat nonmushy suggestions. She is so upset and idk what to do. Please any suggestions.

we did My Wish by rascal flatts..my dad and i arent close at all and i didnt want to do a mushy song. this was just sentimental enough for us without being too much!

We danced to sinatra's the way you look tonight... it was more upbeat and gave my dad a chance to have fun and swing me around... not so much mushiness

She could do something sinatra, that's a little more on the upbeat side... Our song was totally not traditional- we danced to sweet child o' mine by guns and roses... we totally didn't want anything mushy either and we're very into rock so it was perfect

I danced with my father to Billy Joel 'She's Got a Way'... still mushy but not as much so as Butterfly Kisses or something like that.

I think My Wish by Rascal Flatts is a mushy song. I hear it and start to tear up!

My dad and I also want a non mushy song to dance to. I grew up listening to Doo-Wop with him, so we might pick one of those songs. He first wanted Beyonce's Put a Ring on It, ( he LOVES that song), but watching the video, I told him there is no way I can dance like that.
