Non-rehearsal dinner invitations

Non-rehearsal dinner invitations

Help!
We're not having a rehearsal but we are having a dinner for our out-of-town guests and immediate family and the bridal party.

How do I word the invite? I've been calling it a non-rehearsal dinner but that doesn't sound so hot on the invite.

Any suggestions?

what about saying that it is a dinner in celebration of your upcoming wedding-or something along that lines.

Thanks! I don't know why I was having such a hard time with the wording. It seems the closer the wedding gets, the less my brain works.

Depending on your fun level, I'd do one of the following:

Please join us in our 'Last Supper' before becoming Husband and Wife

or

You are cordially invited to the 'opening ceremonies' of our wedding weekend.

Welcome Dinner
DATE
PLACE
TIME

or

No need to rehearse the vows,
But we invite you to celebrate,
The night before GROOM and BRIDE
Become eternal soul mates!

or something more traditional...

You are cordially invited to join us
as we toast BRIDE and GROOM on their last night before becoming husband and wife!
