Non-religious officiant
I need some help! I'm trying desparately to find a non-religious officiant. I called a couple of judges and the suffolk county courts with no luck. If anyone knows of a judge or other such officiant I would really appreciate any leads. The only thing is that my FH would really like to have a man marry us. Thanks for your help!

Re: Non-religious officiant
Did you ask to your banquet manager? Usually the catering halls have recommended people for that too.Good luck,

Re: Non-religious officiant
Suz -I used a guy named Dr. Glass who was very good. I'm Jewish and my Husband is Catholic and we pretty much had him perform a ceremony for us that incorporated both religions. That is what we wanted. We basically wrote out our entire ceremony for him. He did of course have many different ceremoneis to choose from. He is a Justice of the Peace / Ordained Minister. I don't have the contact info with me here at the office but if you e-mail me, I'll get it for you from home. He did a great job for us and I would highly recommend him to all. Also, if he is not available for your date, he has many other people that he works with, all men of course who would be able to perform the ceremony instead of him. E-mail me at [email protected] for further details.
Good luck!

I also vote rev. Joe! we are having them preform our 10/20 wedding and just went to see them yesterday to review the ceremony we picked out. Everything was beautiful and I almost cried when practicing my vows. They are really wonderful people and I would highly recommend them rev. joe and his wife judy).best of luck!

Re: Non-religious officiant
Thank you so much everyone! I knew posting here would give me some good ideas.
We are leaning towards a judge right now, but we're keeping an open mind. I called Land's End today. They emailed me their list from Flowerfields and it has a couple of good options also. So I'm feeling better.
If you think of anyone else, let me know! Thanks!
