Wear what YOU want, what YOU feel comfortable in, and what looks best on YOU!

I didn't want strapless at first, but after trying on gowns, changed my mind. I purchased a dress that is made with straps, but I'm wearing it strapless. (Pics of the dress are in my album)

There are so many different styles of dresses - wear what works for YOU!! I'm sure your gown is absolutely stunning.

That's right, wear what YOU want, don't just follow what everyone else is doing.

I knew I wouldn't be comfortable in strapless and so I got a halter. There are more pics in my album.

Mine had cap sleeves as well, pics in album, (no one great shot of my dress in there). I was so frustrated shopping cause I knew I did not want strapless and it seemed that is all there was! There seem to be more stapped or sleeved dresses now so they must be gaining some popularity!
Buuut, who cares what everybody else is doing? Do what feels & looks right on you!

I didn't want a strapless dress at all. Here's my dress from the first fitting (it had to be taken in everywhere!)

Re: non-strapless

I actually am wearing strapless, BUT it is not what i started otu wanting! I wanted a flowy chiffon dress withgrecian lines and straps, very similar to one that vintagegirl had in her album at one point. I wanted that ethereal look but when I actually got that style of dress on....OYE!

I am not built to look 'wispy.' I am hispanic and just like JLO, baby's got back! LOL I also ahve a muscular lower half so when the chiffon clung, looked like white covered susages. NOT at all ethereal and fairylike. I tried halter which was my next choice and made me look choked. After kicking and screaming, I finally tried on a strapless style and voila! Found the style that flattered me.

It all depends what works for your body. Keep an open mind and you'll find THE dress, gurantee it. :)

I'm not wearing a strapless dress- I'm always worried that it will fall or slide.
I love my dress and it's not strapless

Seriously all the bridal magazines are showing strapless dresses. I don't feel comfortable in a strapless and I don't like the way I look in strapless. I am hoping to find a dress with cap sleeves or adding them on if I can't find it! Definitely go with what you like, its YOUR day girl!!
