Has anyone registered for things besides home stuff? We are thinking of doing a registry at REI for some Kayaks or something along those lines...in addition to home stuff from probably macys/target....anyone have experience with this? He has lots of uncles that we think would be into chipping in for big gifts...

We are not doing it but I don't think there is anything wrong with it. As long as there is a good price range then I think you should register for whatever will make you guys happy!
