non-wedding nightmare!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I learned a lesson today- never leave Pathfinder running with the doors closed or it automatically locks after a certain time for security!!!

Heres the story- trying to make it a quick read..

i went to go warm up my truck this morning... it was 7:00 a.m and I had to be in at 7:45 to teach an extra help class at school. Fiance already left for his job as a teacher in queens.

so i start the car, close the doors, go back in side for a few minutes- i dontthink i was more than 6-7 min tops.

so i leave my apartment a nd am ready to get into my truck and the door is LOCKED!!! now i know i didnt lock it.. so im not in a panic yet... my landlord has a key so I knocked on her doorbell to see if I can get the spare, no answer. I try calling her, no answer. I dont see her car so now im in a panic.. all the windows in my apartment are locked, door locked, car locked and running.

I call police dept- they dont handle those calls anymore- dont have the equipment... my parents were cops and I know they had helped many people get locks open..

called AAA- 1-1/2 half wait and they only cover $50 and the price came to $90!!! now you know on a wedding budget im lucky i have $5 in my pocket!!!

so i go to next door neightbors and ask if she has my landlord cell phone # to call her at work- shes friends with her.. no she cant find it and my landlords sister had died so she was out in ronkonkoma!!!!

now its 7:45 im late for school so i have to call school to make sure someone takes care of my extra help class.

the neighbor though knows where my landlord keeps the spare keys since she gave her one to hold and she was feeding her cats so she came with me into the house and we found the spare key to my apartment!!!

i have a headache still the size of TEXAS!!! i had to share with you ladies.. i feel better now!!

i need your pity right now ladies!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG I am so sorry. I would have stood in the street crying. Seriously. I hate when stuff like that happens. I locked my keys in the car on the last day of school last year and all I wanted to do was get out of their. I started crying because of all the stress I was under. I am glad everything worked out. I hope you learned your lesson Missy!!

Can you belive we have 24 days til our wedding?? I am really starting to feel the heat. I was looking at the calendar today and I only have 14 more days of work left til I am off for 3 1/2 weeks.(not including weekends) I can't believe it. I am going over to my moms in a little while to work on favors and we finished getting all our bridal party gifts last night. I have to go meet with the DJ tomorrow night and we meet with the priest on Thursday and I am supposed to go pick up my dress on Saturday, but I am going to call and cancel it and make it a week later because I don't want to bring it home yet. Saturday is my bachelorette party. I can't wait. I can't belive its almost here!!!!

i have a DJ appt tomorrow too! what are you doing for your bachelorette? im going to the city next sat with the girls. we have a hotel room- my dad gets it for us- knows the head of security at the roosevelt- he hooks us up with a suite... i cant believe it is coming up!

i am almost finished with bridal gifts, confirmed menu, had first fitting, final is onthe 26th, meeting with dj, paid videographer.... and many other little things. I feel like i am constantly on the phone with someone confirming something!!
