Tomorrow night is my bacholertte party and I am getting sick. My ears hurt, my throat is raw, I am losing my voice and my head is pounding. I am loading up on the Vitamin C, I have been sucking on Riccola all day and I took an advil cold and sinsus.
What else can I take to keep it from coming?????

Can you get a Dr. appt today? There is something going around. Try and get an antibiotic - then you can't drink tomorrow night but you would still be able to go

I swear by these Ecchinea and Goldenseal pills that they sell at GNC. I usually buy the Fingerprinted version (which is cheaper). As soon as I start to feel like I'm coming down with something, I pop 2 of them with a full glass of water and miraculously, I just about always feel better the next day. Send your FH to GNC to buy them for you. I think they're about $18.00.
Also be sure to rest. I hope you feel better.

I'm so sorry!!! I hope you feel better. But when I get sick a couple of weeks before something really important I always say... at least I'm sick now... So I'm getting it over with and most likely will not get sick again for the important event. So even though you might not feel too good for your party, at least you will feel good for your wedding.
