North Carolina furniture??

Hi, I am looking for furniture and was wondering if anyone has ordered furniture online from North Carolina or Roomstogo.com? Thanks!

Not online, but my FMIL actually flew to NC for the furniture. She recently renovated the entire first floor of her house (started with one and just became contageous). she did this about 15 years ago and said it was the best thing she has ever done. she went this time, for 4 days, she met with a representative there, who helped her piece it all together (i.e. color wise/design etc.) She ended up spending a lot of money anyway, but i believe she saved 17k all together, after shipping and everything!!!!!! i will definitely do that when i get a house, whenever that may be lol.

My FMIL just order all her furniture from RoseFurniture.com. She would go to the stores (Hoffman Koos, Macys Furniture, Etc, etc) and try it out (couch, dining room, etc) and then call Rose and get a quote.
He dining chairs were $489 at Macys and $280 at Rose Furniture. She saved close to $2500 on the dining set alone.

We ordered our bedroom set from furniturelandsouth.com

We had no problems at all and saved quite a bit.

Also I think there was a thread on this board a few weeks back. I'll try to find it for you...

Here it is:

We ordered from Furtniture Land South and while we saved alot of money it just happened that they had a big flood and all of our furniture was damaged when they delivered it. They redelivered it though and it was fine. We went back there a few weeks ago and they told us that was a HUGE fluke and they built a whole new storage area and it would never happen again. I would order from there again.

Also, my SIL ordered hers from Rose Furniture and had no problems.

We bought from Rooms to Go. We had some issue with them, one of which was never resolved. But I'm over it.
Honestly I'd go with North Carolina Furniture before Rooms to Go next time.
The only reason we bought it was the no interest, no payments 2years deal they had at the time. We bought 3 grand worth of Furniture last May and no payments no interest til next January.

I have used Furnitureland South a few times. I am very happy with them.

I have bought furniture from Rose Furniture and High Point Funirture Sales (over the phone) and have been very happy with both. I just looked in NY - found what I like and called them and ordered it.

Are these stores better than Seamans? And how does the quality compare?

The quality at Seamens IMO is lacking!

Most of the stores in NC sell the same major brands that you find in most furniture stores in NY. So therefore the same exact quality. What I did was look around in NY for what I liked and got the brand name and name of the set and call NC and price it around. For the most part, I always got a better price in NC. I did this for major furniture purchases such as my dining room and master bedroom because the savings were significant and they were both from major furniture brands.
