North Ritz

My mom and I went to see the north ritz tonight. Do you ladies have any reviews on their food & their cake? I understand they make their own cakes which for some reason worries me. For any brides who have had their reception there I'd love to see pictures of your cake. Also if you didn't use their cake did they charge you to bring one in? Food is the most important aspect to me & it just worries me because I don't know anyone who got married there. TIA!

I am getting married there in November, but have not had my tasting yet. However, I have heard AMAZING things about their food. It was actually on an episode of Four Weddings and it won mostly because it received a perfect score for the food. I also was told that the Viennese hour was out of this world. I haven't heard anything specifically about the cake, but in pictures they look pretty nice. I know that wasn't the most helpful response haha, but I would love to hear what anyone else has to say!

My friend got married there in 2011 and the food was pretty good. I just think that they didn't have enough stations/food out for cocktail hour but that might have been due to the package she picked. She had about 280 guests. Maybe have a food tasting before you book or if you need to leave a deposit to have the tasting, make sure you can get it back if you don't like their food.

This is my worry exactly. I didn't feel like it was enough food just looking at the package I was offered. For example they offer 11 hot passed hor douves (spelling??) while most places ive seen offer min. 15-20

Hi Ladies. I am chiming in- I got married at North Ritz 3 years ago. The BEST! I still have guests that rave about the food. I have been told that we had the most amazing cocktail hour. We have people saying it was the best viennese hour ever. Nothing but good things. I know they are still amazing because I have a few friends that married there recently. Good luck!

Hi!!I am getting married there this summer. I had my tasting and the food is amazing! The filet mignon is soo tender..the chilean sea bass to die for (first time I had it). We went to a wedding there in 2011.. decided to check it out for our wedding because in all honesty it was the only wedding where actually thought wow the food is really good here! My parents raved about the food from that wedding and my dad was looking forward to the filet mignon at my tasting. My in-laws raved about it after the tasting. Best part of the tasting you will have left overs for days! Also, just so you know you can't have a tasting at North Ritz until after you put a deposit down.

I'm getting married there in June! I went to a wedding there about 5 years ago and the food then was amazing. I've continued to hear good things so that's encouraging! A coworker went over the summer and said everything was fantastic! Good luck in your search:)

Hi. I am getting married at the north ritz next April and we actually had out tasting already... The food was incredible. Everytime I tell someone I'm getting married there the first thing they say is what great food they have! I don't know if I am using their cake yet because both my parents work at a bakery so I will probably use their cake
