When did you go for a tasting there in relation to your wedding? And did you have to harass them to set up an appointment for you or did they call you?

Re: North Ritz brides
I went for a tasting in January, my reception is October 27th. Keep calling your BM to get you on the list for the tasting. They are held once a month, and you can bring guests, I forgot what the max number is. Very well worth it, the food is great.
My suggestion - take notes on each item that is tasted. You won't remember when it comes time to do the menu selection.

I went in March (getting married in November). I called last November and they told me the next available tasting was in January/February. When March came and I didn't hear from them, I decided to call again... They told me my name was on the list for the upcoming tasting (which was the following week) but no one called me. You should call again and ask them to put you down for the next tasting.

They never mentioned a food tasting to me. i had to call them up and ask them about it. and it just happened that i called them a week before they were holding one.
so make sure to call them up and ask them when their next one is and make the appointment. they are not going to call you about it.
you could bring up to 6 people, thats including yourself.
their food is excellent. its basically held as a event and you have your own table with two bottles of wine, appetizers, and they bring stuff out one by one.

Why are they such a PITA with the tastings? This has been the only issue I have had with them, and hopefully it stays that way, but I don't understand what the problem is. And also, why do they have to have it at 5 p.m. on a Wednesday? Uh, yeah, people do that thing called work. And people do this 'work' thing so they can pay for this little shin dig. Can they give you any time to get yourself there in prime rush hour?! Okay. Vent over. I just don't understand why they need to make it so difficult!

I had to remind them a few times about the food tasting, asked again before I made my final down payment. But, it is well worth it. The food is amazing. Bring your appetite. The most impressive thing is that NRC is presenting food that has been prepared as is for a banquet, not just for two or four people. There are about 100 people at each tasting.
