North Ritz Brides

Anybody doing a ceiling treatment?? If so what ideas do you have??

I'm doing the crystal votive candles around the out-cove of the ceiling.. then tooling & flowers in the center.

Just wondering what other options there are and what you ladies are doing or thinking of doing??

Re: North Ritz Brides

Congrats & Welcome! I am also a NRC bride.

The same applies to me. I am not booked with one of their in-house vendors, so I will be unable to decorate the ceiling. The room is beautiful & love the ceilings! I will just be leaving the room the way it is, with no drapings or decorations.

Although. what you explained sounds beautiful!

Love to see more NRC brides!

Its my understanding that, even if you're not using their florist for your regular florist, you can still hire the florist they use to do the ceiling, if that is your wish. So for instance, I'm using Flower Barn as my regular florist, if I wanted to do the ceiling, I could still hire their florist just to do the ceiling.

thank you.. thank you!!

i am using Pedestals.. they are doing my church flowers... bouquets .. centerpieces & ceiling treatment

i know the two vendors that are allowed to do the ceiling are Pedestals & Flowers by Brian. I am sure you can hire either one of them to just do the ceiling treatment if you'd like.

i think the room and ceilings are gorgeous regardless, but i went to show my mom the room one weekend and the bride had the candles & tooling & i fell in love!!

I've been toying with this idea....I think the ceiling draperies look absolutely beautiful. I'm also using an outside florist, but I'm sure Pedestals or Flowers by Brian wouldn't turn down the business even if it is just for ceiling treatments.

Or....if you're having an evening wedding, you can hope the wedding in the morning did the ceiling and then its there.

LOL, I just FM'd gemini about this since she's the morning wedding at NRC on my date I think it would be a great idea to split the cost if both parties wanted it.

Re: North Ritz Brides

Hey ladies,

Just an FYI, I called NRC to find out which florists are allowed to do the ceiling treatments. They permit the following:

Pedestals
Flowers by Brian
Stefan's
United Floral
Flower Michele

Hope that helps if you're interested!

Re: North Ritz Brides

Still deciding if I want to do this or not. I'm going to wait and see what my funds look like a little closer to the wedding and then maybe book it in like January if the funds are there. It's expensive to do, but I LOVE the way it looks.
