My mother and I went up there this weekend and I must say I was a bit disappointed. All of the flowers were dead. They did not plant their fall flowers yet. I then went up by Fox Hollow to compare, all of there gardens looked beautiful...first time I was actually disappointed...

Re: North Ritz Brides
maybe they are waiting till tomorrow??? This weather would instantly kill flowers that are newly planted.

I guess that is a possibility, but Mums are usually planted before October....

Re: North Ritz Brides-UPDATED with PICS
I went there today after reading your post because we were thinking of getting married there in the gardens and i was concerned--I took a few pictures, but my mom and I were not impressed with the lack of lack of mums and all the dead grass and dead impatients we saw--here are some pics. I was going to go inside to see what the deal was, but we were crunched for time so we just left.
I am going to go up there this weekend. If things did not change, then I will ask them....

Re: North Ritz Brides
missmmpr, is your wedding in May? I am not a gardener at all, but wouldn't they plant flowers in april or may for the spring? Are you concerned because they should have planted next years flowers already or because they should have their winter flowers planted??
I'm worried now!

Re: North Ritz Brides
missmmpr, I don't thinkg you have anything to worry about--of course they will have all their spring flowers planted when you get married--the thing with Fall Flowers is that they are only out for about a month or so and then it's the winter time weather-whereas with the Springtime flowers they are for throughout the entire summer. But, if they haven't setup for Autumn now then when?! It's almost November!

Re: North Ritz Brides
Yes...I am in May, but if they don't take care of the fall flowers correctly, whose to say they will plant the Spring flowers on time???
I am just saying that it is nice to go there and see that everything is taken care of. I am very happy so far with the hall, just the appearance this season so far was a let down
