North Ritz Brides (other brides look, too - what are your direction cards like?)

did any of you write your own direction cards?

i think the ones from NRC stink and now im annoyed i have to go and write my own.

I feel the same way!! How much longer do we have before the nexy bride gets married?? Maybe that will put our minds at ease!

oh my, i didnt mean to make this a negative post about NRC! in fact, a friend of a friend got married there this weekend and the wedding got RAVE reviews! my two friends said the food and service were AWESOME. im SO excited to get married there!!

however, im just annoyed with the direction cards. i would have liked more detailed directions coming from all directions. you all might be just fine with them! this is what they look like:

how come by the LIRR it only says to Syosset station?....What if you don't know where to go from there???

exactly! and what if you dont know how to get to the LIE or N. State? who knows what 1000 feet is? why doesnt it say the NRC is on the left hand side? they were just poorly written!!

I agree with Stacey..I think they are usually general because they can't tell people how to get to the LIE the card would be pages instead of a card

i dont know if you can see this clearly, but here is the direction card from my friend's wedding at Wind Watch Golf & Country Club - MUCH more detailed!

I am getting married at Crest Hollow and their direction card was HORRIBLE- it wasn't even a card- just a piece of paper with a few directions from some obscure Long Island locations. I took the one from the Inn at Fox Hollow which was great and since they are so close, added in a few things and made it my own! Now it looks like the one above!

I used them, I guess they didn't bother me so much, probably because I know how to get there. My wedding is in about 5 weeks.

And I think the directional cards will be fine - people usually get their own directions (at least I know I always do).
