North Ritz Brides Past & Present

North Ritz Brides Past & Present

I have been having the hardest time deciding on a venue and the only place FH & I have agreed upon thus far is North Ritz. I have decided to have my dad take a look at it but there is one thing that I am held back by....I thought it was weird that you cant taste the food until you put a deposit down. I'm sure the food is good, I'm just not comfy w/handing over that kind of $ w/out tasting first. How did you ladies feel?

Actually, I had the same question because above everything else, the only thing my parent's cared about was the food, no matter how 'pretty' and nice a hall is....

I asked the same question to my BM and she said that if at the tasting you don't like the food, they give you your deposit back, which made us feel 10x better handing over the deposit to them!

Ask your BM just to make sure before you sign any papers that you can get a refund if you don't like the food at the tasting. Don't worry, my family and friends have been to many weddings here and have yet to hear a complaint!! =)

It's funny because NRC was the only place my FH and I were really crazy about also....when we walked in we both looked at each other and smiled and knew it was the one!!

Good Luck and let us know how it goes!!

The tasting was fabulous ! On your contract it says that they will give you a full refund after tasting if you don't like...thats how confident they are in that you will like the food...it is really great food...

cocktail hour food is AMAZING and IMO I think all cocktail hour food is better then the actual dinner in all RH's..

Plus NRC has an amazing Venetian Hour...nothing like I have ever seen...

Good luck and I think if your heart is set on NRC go for it and don't let that stop you...promise you wont be disappointed !

Yup, what the other girls said. You get to have a tasting after you put down a deposit, and if you don't like the food, you can get your money back.

I've heard nothing but GREAT things about the food there. FMIL went to a wedding there a few years ago, and she is VERY pleased that we booked there. And FMIL is very picky about her food. She had nothing but good things to say about it.

ETA: ooooooooo but I just noticed your date......is that right? B/c then I don't think NRC is available. I know Gemini10 is getting married there in the afternoon, and I am the evening wedding that night!

This date is what we originally wanted when we got engaged but are willing to change to whatever the venue we LOVE has available.

Thanks ladies for all of your support, I will def let you know what happens after my dad takes a look!

Re: North Ritz Brides Past & Present

I just found this post, and I just wanted to say that before I booked the North Ritz Club, I didn't have any one that I knew that had personal experience about the place or food.

Then, after I booked and mentioned the North Ritz Club, those that had been there could not stop raving about the food and the place of course. My friend just went to a wedding last week and just said it was gorgeous and the food was amazing. I was never worried about the food and it seems like many places dont let you do a tasting until after you book, which I can understand their reasons.

We had visited so many halls and we were starting to feel as if maybe we were just being too picky, because neither of us had that exciting feeling. As soon as we walked into the North Ritz Club, we both felt that excitement. It was the only one I was truly so excited about. Everyone that I know that has been there just raves about it and says you having nothing at all to worry about (which I knew already). My first impression with the staff too was so positive, they have been nothing but wonderful. It's a gorgeous place, I am so happy to have booked with them. Wish you the best of luck!

I had my wedding there in 2003, and the food was absolutely amazing. Don't worry about it. I just attended a wedding there too.
