I don't think we have many OOTers or people that would get a room but I guess I should have something to offer....

I used the Marriott Residence Inn in Plainview, just off Old Country Road. I think it was $139 per night - all of the rooms are suites though - they have kitchens too. And free breakfast
I don't remember about a minimum. I know they don't charge you if all the rooms are not booked.

we blocked at the Sheraton Four Points in Plainview.
i can't remember if there was a min but if there was, i think it was 10 and it was $149 per night.

I also used the Four Points Sheraton. I don't remember if there was a minimum, or what it was, but I know you could only block 15 rooms at a time without penalty. Our rate was $135 per night. We also did the extended bar and next morning brunch there as well.

I used the Fox Hollow which is like 2 mins down jericho tpke from NRC- the rooms were absolutely gorgeous!! I believe they are all suites, breakfast buffet is free for guests, and the bride and groom's room was free
I think you had to block 10 rooms at a time, and you did have to guarantee a certain percentage of that would be booked.... I think rooms were somewhere around $179.
