Original post by J&C628905

Hi.. I just recently began looking at catering halls and my favorite so far has been the North Ritz Club in Syosset.. has anyone had any experience with them before?

Okay, I never get involved in these types of threads but there is one thing I have to say. I am not defending the person who started this thread or any of the other fakies we've seen today. I don't even know which ones are fakies and which ones aren't.

But we can't assume that just because someone doesn't use real dates in their profiles that they are a fakie. There are plenty of real brides on here that we converse with on a daily basis that 'lie' about their wedding date for personal reasons, fear of identity theft, sabotage, etc etc. And anyone can create an account on this site and enter fake information, but be a REAL bride.

Again, I'm not defending fakies. I just think it's a weak attack when someone accuses someone of being a vendor or whatever just because their profile dates are off. You can't really go by that.

Now, odd sounding posts by the same newbies... that can be suspicious.

Well said, I felt bad for J&C628905

I think it is just weird that there are like three different posts about the NRC from different wedding newbies. I guess it is just a coincidence.

Sorry you had to experience that J&C..welcome aboard!!

My friend...NYPDSGIRL is getting married at the NRC and so far has no complaints and loves it. I have seen it too and it's a beautiful place.

OK- I didn't realize that you guys had issues with vendor posers and I totally respect that- I apoligize for the brainiac comment, I was just super insulted.. NRC was not the only place I looked at, I looked at a bunch of others too- just looking for a little feedback, that's all

I agree with HearzBellz if you look there I am sure you will find plenty of experience with NRC! Good Luck and sorry if you felt offended. I think people have been having trouble lately with fake brides.

I checked out over ten locations and NRC was my absolute favorite and they have been really accomodating. Never heard one bad review about them. As said early, NRC rocks!

I went to 10 different places too and NRC had everything I was looking for. I thought it was beautiful!!! I keep hearing that the food is excellent. I loved it as soon as I walked in.

I'm a NRC bride and I am so excited to be getting married there. It really is beautiful and the food is great. I am going for my menu meeting on Tuesday. I'm happy to hear that the NRC is one of the halls you are considering.

Welcome!!!

I agree 100%. I don't usually get involved in these threads for the same reason. For the most part, I think it's petty and a bit childish.

As for the North Ritz, in choosing a venue, we liked North Ritz very much. The venue was beautiful and the people were very professional. The dates they had available just didn't work for us. I haven't seen anything negative about them.
