I just wanted to start a forum with all the 2009/2010 North Ritz Club Brides!!
Who are you all working with at NRC? I am working with Maryanne and she is a sweetheart!!
I had one concern.....we are getting married in the Fall and hopefully the weather is nice for us to have a half indoor/outdoor CH. The only thing, if the weather isn't nice, does the CH room only seat 150? We guaranteed 225 and am afraid if the weather doesn't permit for outdoor, our guests will be crammed in the CH room??
help!
471 days seems far, but I know it isn't!! I am excited but actually a bit nervous....grrr!

Im Jan 2010... I was told the cocktial hour room has seating for 180. I am working with IDA.
There is so much room in the CH room., you prob don't need to worry...
I'm so excited too, I drive by there twice a week on my way to work and I just loveee it

Congrats! I'm a June 2010 NRC bride I'm also hoping to have gorgeous weather for the outdoor CH, and I have a guarantee of 200 guests. But regardless, I'm sure they'll figure out a way to work it out. If necessary, they can put a few more tables in that other little bar area.

I know what you mean - I seem to be taking Jericho Tpke everywhere so I can pass the front!! LOL
Did you add any extras? We added the big vieneese and the big seafood option, that includes lobster, crab legs, etc. FH wants to add the optional Sea Bass for dinner....we just keep adding and adding and adding....$$$!
Do they decorate the hall for the holidays since you are getting married in january? It must look SO nice with all the Christmas lights and decorations!!!!!!

Im also a NRC Bride Im getting married there in April 2010..I hope for nice weather as well I guaranteed 175...I worked with Nadine she was a sweetheart and really easy to work with.

im working with Maryann too... she is def a sweetheart... i think you will be ok with the cocktail hour. the room is really big... plus there is the other bar area that guests can be in also...

I love hearing comments about NRC....I always look to find bad reviews and I really have yet to find ANY at all!!!
The girl who's wedding I walked in on on June 28th did an AMAZING job with flowers and decorations. They removed that big centerpiece that NRC has and her florist made this tremendous tree with crystals and candles hanging off of it, which was in the center around the place cards. Then in the ballroom, she had the custom chair sashes and upgraded her linens. Her centerpieces were to die for....she did a fantastic job and so did her florist! Hmmm I wonder if she is a LIW member!?!? Too bad I didn't have a camera....

I wish you had pictures, i'm debating to use chair sashes or not, I'm not sold on how they look. Getting married Oct 24th ahh!

YOU SCARED ME!! I was like HEY I AM GETTING MARRIED OCT 24!! lol we just happened to walk in on a wedding the day we visited the place and we just happened to LOVE the way it looks with the chair sashes in copper, which is why we decided to get them. If we had never seen them, we probably would have never ordered them! lol
