So I picked out my menu choices tonight. Yes, there is still chilean sea bass(picked the livornaise sauce), also picked the chateaubriand with mushroom sauce, and the chicken tuscany(proscuitto, leeks, artichokes, mushrooms). All of the menu items stayed the same. I picked out 7 stations for cocktail hour, tri color salad with mozzarella and tomato, tartufo with fresh fruit along with wedding cake (picked yellow cake with chocolate pudding filling and buttercream frosting). I'll let you know how it tastes in about 25 days

Did they have a book of cake designs you can pick from or did you supply them with a picture? I'm sure the food will be amazing! We had the tasting a few months ago and the food was incredible! Best of luck!

Yahoo for the Chilean Sea Bass! Now let's just hope it's still there in October. I'm curious about the cake too! Did anyone sign with them when they had the old menu?

They did not offer any cake book of pics. He just asked stacked or tiered, what filling and what type of frosting. I forgot to bring a pic of a cake that I liked so I am going to call them about that. My contract said 7 stations for 150 people. Maybe if you have a bigger party you can have more stations, or they changed the policy after I booked.

So exciting!! You are going to have a great wedding. You sound like me with the cake. I had all these pictures printed out and when it came time to pick my cake I forgot them and just was like whatever at that point.
Can I come to your wedding? j/k I really want to go to a wedding and NRC to taste the food and seen from a guest persepective what it was like!
I also got to pick 7 stations. I think it goes on number of guests (and maybe if you originally signed up for the original menu). I had 175 guests. There was plenty of food.

sounds great drjenn! I wish i knew how many stations i was getting lol i'll have to look on the contract. I have an idea of a cake too--I wanted some kind of fall leaves on mine-I wonder who is responsible for that? or if you want flowers on it is that the florist's responsiblity?

Re: North Ritz Club Brides
NRC told me that the florist was responsible if you wanted fresh flowers on your cake...if not, then they will put the sugar flowers on. They also told me that it looks much better with the real flowers from a florist, and that most florists will do it for free (as long as you get the rest of your flowers there).

Re: North Ritz Club Brides
For the stations i chose the crudite, pasta, carving board, crepe, italian hot antipasto, saute, and wok stations. The cake is a standard cake. I guess if you want something different you will have to pay extra or have an outside baker. My florist is supplying roses for my cake. Niecey you can definately crash the wedding if you want to.
