Is anyone getting married at the NRC in summer of 2012? Our wedding is scheduled for 7/14/12 and our BM has yet to say anything to us about a tasting. When we booked, they mentioned they big group tastings with all the couples at once, but I'd like a time frame. Should I contact him or wait until after the new year?

It doesn't hurt to contact him now. If this is any consolation, I went to a wedding at NRC in August and the food was amazing. I actually posted a review on here. If you do a search for my username & north ritz club, you should be able to view it.

I had a tasting in March. I called and set up an appointment to have a private tasting. It was amazing!! it was me FH my parents and FH's parents.

We are getting married at NRC on 5/4/12. I'm working with Nadine. FH drops off the payments & she mentioned to him about the Food Tasting. We did ours in July. We did the group tasting & went with FILs and my parents. It was alot of fun & we got to taste a ton of stuff. Both our parents never saw the place so we are excited about that too. It doesn't hurt to ask. I think they do one every couple months. Have fun

when we did the tasting it was the first time our parents saw the place too!!!

I kept on calling them too and they kept on telling me that they'll have one the next month and they'll call me but they never did. it annoyed me at first but then i got over it b/c i knew the food was going to be good. anyways, i called them months later to set one up and i couldn't make it to the group weekday one so we got a private tasting on a weekend. good luck nrc girls!

I just called and spoke to John. He said he didn't have a definitive date but they are trying to hold 2 in January because it's their slow time and they are trying to work the details out with the chef. He said it would be on a Wednesday at 5:30pm. I'm a little disappointed because I wish I had a date to mark in my calendar and have time taken off work, etc for but instead I got a I dunno. I'm trying not to worry because of all the positive feedback concerning their food.

January isn't good for me because fh is a CPA and thats his busy season. I guess I'll have to schedule a private one.
