We FINALLY narrowed it down to 2 places! We're up between Bridgeview Yact Club and North Ritz Club. They're SO different, but we both like them both a lot! Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated! Great food is very important to us, and of course we can't taste the food before we decide! Thanks for any help

Re: North Ritz or Bridgeview?!?!?!
Without question, North Ritz Club!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(but of course, I'm baised )
The service was top-notch, the food was fantastic. They really lived up to their wonderful reputation, we couldn't have asked for anything more from them.
Check out my review for pics.

You look AMAZING! Beautiful pics! Just out of curiosity...how many people did you have? We're probably looking at 200 and the ch room SEATS 185, I'm concerned it will be a little tight if it rains and we can't use the outside area!

Re: North Ritz or Bridgeview?!?!?!
I'm biased
As for the CH room, one of the things I liked about NRC was how much seating there was in the CH. Most places I've been to for events have very little seating (100 or less) because people mill around and hop from station to station getting food. I'd be shocked if there was a time when everyone wanted to be seated at once during the CH. 185 seemed like a ton of seating to me (we invited a little over 300 and project maybe 225 attending). I'm hoping it doesn't rain so that people can hang out by the waterfall and the outdoor bar, but not because I'm worried about seating.
Edit: bedtime for me, but FM me if you have any other Qs about NRC. My wedding isn't for another 2 months, but I might be able to answer some of your Qs. I prob wont be checking back on this thread very often but I'll try to reply to FMs

ITA with everything Jen said!! NRC is definitely the way to go. They have been great to work with so far, the place is GORGEOUS and I've never heard one bad thing about the place. I'm so happy that I choose the NRC. I've been to many weddings in the last year and all the CH rooms have been really small. The reason I really liked the NRC is b/c their room seemed so much bigger than most. I wanted my guests to be comfortable, plus you can use the outside for the CH as well.

Re: North Ritz or Bridgeview?!?!?!
My best friend got married at the NRC, and her wedding was beautiful! I was admit that the CT hour was tight. There was not enough seating for everyone, and we were unable to go outside (winter wedding). That was my only negative comment. I looked for a place that would provide plenty of seating for the guests at cocktail hour. Otherwise, the place was beautiful. The food was great,a nd so was the service. HTH
I have never been to NRC so its Bridgeview for me...been there for a million different functions and its always been great!

I am biased, but NRC was FANTASTIC.
Our friends are still raving about the place, almost 8 months after our wedding. Food, service, decor - everthing was excellent.

Re: North Ritz or Bridgeview?!?!?!
we visited both places. bridgeview is nice cause i love yacht clubs but it looks old. NRC looks a lot newer & i thought it was prettier.

I loved Bridgeview! Everyone there was super attentaive and great to work with. The food was amazing. I didn't get the 'old look' at all. It was very classy.

Re: North Ritz or Bridgeview?!?!?!
I've heard really good things about North Ritz..but never been there. Went to Bridgeview two years ago. The CH space did seem a little dated, but the main room with the 'tented' feel, was really nice. Food was great and the vienese is spectacular! Only downfall was location. There are like NO hotels near there, and it is a pain to get to off the highway.
Edited to say- CLM and VYC are also hard to get to - so if having a water view is important to you, that shouldnt stop you. I also liked BV better than CLM when I went looking. Goodluck!!

Thanks SO much for all of your responses, girls! Such a HUGE help! I know they both have good reps :) Tough choice, both beautiful! I'll have to grill my FH a bit more and make a pros and cons chart! So gay, I know. But it works! Thanks again!!
