North Ritz vs the Somerley

Hi everyone. I am trying to decided between the NRC vs the Somerley. My dad said he heard the food at the Somerley was not good and he thinks the dance floor is too small for 150 guests and wants me to get married at NRC but I think I like the Somerley better. Anyone have their wedding at either place? HELP!!

North Ritz vs the Somerley

My best friend got married at the North Ritz and it was amazing!!! The food was great (cocktail hour was awesome) and the staff was extremely attentive to the entire bridal party.
Great venue.

North Ritz vs the Somerley

I am getting married at the Somerley - and ive been to two weddings at FH (one in the Somerley one in the Garden Terrace room) and the food was great in both rooms! The Somerley definitely can fit 150 comfortably on the dance floor - we are guaranteeing 175

We saw both and we're getting married at the North Ritz! We were completely turned off by the gentleman who showed us around the Fox Hollow.. Was extremely pompous. We did love the Somerley Room. However, the service at North Ritz is amazing, FOOD AMAZING. Also, we will be the only wedding there so I loved that intimate feel :)

The Somerley is beautiful, and I'm pretty sure you would be fine with that amount of guests so I wouldn't worry about that if you really like it.I never saw the North Ritz Club though so my opinion is one sided lol

We got married at the Somerley and had 150 guests and the dance floor was more than big enough. We had a number of people comment on how it was a really good size for the amount of people and no one felt on top of each other. We did the 'New York' style seating, though. With the tables in the back and the dance floor at the front end. Also, the food was good! Most people liked it! The only complaint was the shrimp from some people (differing views) but everyone else thought that the cocktail hour was wonderful and that the food was good. And believe me, if it wasn't my mom or grandma DEFINITELY would have said something to me.
