We found a house that we love in North Selden. How is the area???

I live on the border of Selden and Centereach. (on the centereach side) North of Middle Country Rd. So far, after about 9 months of living here, I love our area, we are close to shopping, take out, everything! I say its a great area for those families where both work! It doesnt take more than 5 minutes to pick up anything! My neighborhood is nice and quiet, a lot of people have been renovating lately.

my friend just moved to selden.
she really likes it.
the schools aren't the greatest but she said they aren't awful either.
chances are as more people start moving out East they'll get better anyway.
