Due to a change in financial situations, we have to consider cancelling the second part of our honeymoon, a Norwegian cruise to Bermuda. I called my travel agent to inquire about cancellation fees, and she informed me that she has had quite a few complaints about the cruiseline. People have been saying that the service is terrible. Just thought I would let you girls know.

Re: Norwegian Cruise Line.....
I was considering going on this cruise but not after I read the reviews on cruisecritic.com. I'm still searching for a honeymoon with less than three months to go!

Re: Norwegian Cruise Line.....
I'm not a big fan of this cruiseline and I've been on it three times. I guess it's good if you like to make your own schedule as you go, since there are no set dinner times or anything. But I really like Celebrity and the same waiter at dinner every night. I think the crew on Norwegian don't feel they need to try very hard when they won't be getting any tips directly from you since you just get charged a certain amount for tips everyday. On some other cruiselines you give your tips directly to the people who helped you out all the time on the last day.

Re: Norwegian Cruise Line.....
My sister's honeymoon was a Norwegian Cruise out of NY in April and it was horrible. When they got on the boat, there wasn't any food for hours ( including not having any food for the reception that was taking place.) Food was served several hours into the cruise in the form of hotdogs and hamburgers at which, a grease fire started so that was shut down. The stablizers for the boat weren't working so you know what that means. More the half the ships rooms didn't have running water for serveral days. They are still fighting to get some money back. There were several people on the ship that refused to get back on once they were at port so they flew home. According to my sister, the cruise home was much better.

Re: Norwegian Cruise Line.....
I went on Norwegian Cruise last January and absolutely loved it. I found nothing wrong with the service...in fact, it was quite the opposite. Everyone was more than pleasant to us. We definately would consider going on a Norwegian cruise again!
