If you aren't Jewish - Are you going to Circumsize (sp?) your son?
I will, most of the guys are circumzed in my family. Someone today thought it was weird since I wasnt jewish. I thought alot of non Jewish people have their kids circumsized, they just dont do the celebration.

Seriously, I was just thinking of this today. A friend of mine who isn't Jewish once asked my opinion. I told her,'I'm Jewish, I've been brainwashed and you have to have your kid circumcised.' Her DH wanted it done anyway, believe it or not. They went on to have 2 boys, both circumcised.
Can someone please tell people that a Jewish circumcision is not done on the kitchen counter and is not done by some guy who does not clean his knife? Lately I have had so many people tell me that they would not do it the usual way, in the home with the mohel (aka penis cutter guy) because they think it's dirty. They do have strict regulations about sterilizing everything. It has to be a kosher knife .
Ok, this is a long freakin' post in response to a question that does not apply to me (question was, 'if you are not Jewish........')

My friend was taking video at his son's bris. I think he started the video after he the actual snip part. He was being so annoying and focusing the camera on people for long periods of time. So, with the camera on me I said, 'this is the best ritual circumcision I have ever been to.' He didn't think I was funny.
If I ever get preggo and have a boy, will the NWR girls come out to rock the bris?

DH isn't Jewish - my family always had bris - we aren;t doing the bris - I think its sick people would want to gather at a party, eat crackers and dip, and watch my son get snipped...
We will do it at the hospital by a doctor after he is born. If he is a He.
