yeah it sucks but I am sure you will find something else

I have a day off today and I feel like I have been working all day since I had to email clients and I have been on the phone with my co-worker since this morning and hey noone will pay me for that

I totally know how bad that sucks-- I was laid off twice in the past two years-- after making it through the internet bubble and seeing all of my friends get laid off- thought it would never happen to me-- but it did. TWICE.

Just try to stay positive.. look for a job.. something will happen eventually. It's not the end of the world and you'll make it through.

I'm so sorry! It will make sense eventually. Take a few days to relax before you start looking for something. Can you collect unemployment? I would get the government money, and get a little PT job off the books for extra cash...just a thought.

Well collect some unemployment, be LIW queen for awhile, wedding plan 24/7, luxuriate in naps, and update your resume...a much better job with a boss who hopefully has some leadership and backbone is out there! I think you'll be more than fine, you'll be better in the end!

THANKS EVERYONE!! you guys are the best. I'm really not bummed out abt it anymore, I mean it was def a shock, but I'm absolutely looking at this as a blessing in disguise.

Now if only I could get my dad off my back abt accepting every boring job he knows of.... Thats whats REALLY stressing me out. I kind of have an idea of what I want to do, but its not a 'job job', although the moneys great, and he just doesnt think its a good idea. So this is my headache now. How am i supposed to tell him to back off and just let me do what I want without hurting his feelings or feeling like he doesnt approve? I mean im not 17 anymore....

and NO the job is not stripping!!!
