Not all New Yorkers S*%K

As many of u know Steven and I work with autistic children, Today we took our 2 classes and another class with higher functioning kids, to see the tree. We all went separate ways with our classes and when we met up my friend Mary told us that some man stopped her and handed her $50.00 to buy the kids pizza or ice cream. How nice is that.
I guess the spirit of xmas will always stay strong in the city.

Honestly, I don't think that New Yorkers are any less nice than anyone else from other cities. Why do NYers have such a bad rep!?

BTW, that was really awesome of that guy to do. If everyone in the world showed a little more random acts of kindness, the world would be a lot more pleasant.

New Yorkers are the best.
I would do that if i had it like that.
Whenever I have a little extra I spend it on the kids. It makes me feel good.

aww thats so nice!

There was an article on MSN about 2 years ago that NY was rated the friendlist city! It said more new yorkers hold doors for strangers and smile at people.

It was one of the nicest things I have heard in a long time. Well this month so far has been so giving. Our school donated over 300lbs of food to City Harvest today and toys for tots is going to pick a bunch of toys the staff donated this friday. What a great month so far.

We always had a bad rep, i wish i knew y... even tho i've come across some reallly nice ppl.. but then again i've meet some real A class A$$holes.... but when i go to other states.. ppl are still nasty.. and when they hear my 'NY accent' oh boy.. they aren't so chrippie anymore..

i don't get it either. the people we met in vancouver were FAR ruder than any new york city stranger i've ever come in contact with. they were scowling at us in haight ashbury as well. i think it's just a stupid stereotype.
