A three-month-old baby girl died yesterday after she was found unresponsive at a Lynbrook daycare center, police said.
Detectives said the infant was staying at Kiddie Academy, located on Broadway, and was discovered unresponsive by caregivers. Lynbrook police rushed the baby to Mercy Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at about 5:30 p.m., police said.
Homicide detectives were investigating the case and were awaiting results from the Nassau County Medical Examiner's Office.
