Not busy enough...

Haha I feel the same way! There's so many DIY things I want to do now but a lot of it's stuff you have to wait until a few months before the wedding to do... like make up programs and menus and stuff.

We have to call our photographer this week and pick a date to take our engagement pics, I keep forgetting to do that.

I would start lookin for gowns asap... never know how long it will take you to find 'the one' and then find out how long it takes for the dress to come in...

other than that, i think you're doing okay.. i think all major vendors should be booked within 1 yr from the date

ETA: but thats my own personal opinion... im sure there would still be great vendors available even after that

Everytime I read posts like this it makes me realize i am soooo behind!!! I didn't book a photo vdeo person OR a florist yet! It is so hard for me because I live in the Bronx and I want people on LI so to go to a palce becomes a whole day event.....I guess I should call photographers this weekened before they are all booked that day!!

ugh that is such a drag to have to go all the way out there!!! Thats why when I meet with photographers, florists, etc I am trying to schedule like 4 places in one day which is a lot harder to do than I thought!!! It also helps that my dad lives in Suffolk so I can always stay out there if we get too tired but i am either working or going to class ALL THE TIMe and I dont have many free days... Luckily I graduate in 3 weeks and this wont be an issue!! I will probably REALLY focus on the wedding then!
