Do you know that everything that we post on this site ends up in Google. Just for fun I decided to Google my screen name and I saw all of my posts in Google....I was pissed.

I wish I knew that. I would have came up with a different name. 'm not posting anything bad but I feel a little violated.

yea this site is not the best with privacy. anyone can read our posts. i actually found this site doing a wedding related google search and ended up reading someone's review.

I really don't mind that people can read my posts but when first I saw it was so upset. I am a little over it now but I am still considering changing my name.

yeah, that happens with images on facebook too if youre tagged in them! just have to be craeful what you put on the internet

(I knew it searched the internet and facebook/myspace/journal pages popped up but I didnt realize that images people have tagged of me could end up on the image search!! [People make those things private on their page so how come random people can see them...thats what I want to know!!!])

I knew that Google would have our profiles, I just didnt know that it would have every individual convo. I know for my myspace it would take you to my page but it does not show all of my comments.

until they make this site private... it will show up in all search engines. it's just the same if some random person logged onto LIW... they could click chat and read all our posts anyway. thats why you get so many lurkers.
you always read in posts... newly engaged girls saying 'i have stalking this site for months...' thats because it's open for ANYONE to read.
