Not doing a garter toss

I was wondering how many of you ladies are NOT doing a garter toss and are wearing a garter?
Is it necessary

We didn't do a garter or bouquet toss. No one seemed to even notice

I have horrible garter toss memories... At a relative's wedding (I was a BM), a GM actually was hitting on me, and even grabbed my @ss during several pictures

At any rate, my mom caught the bo-k, and he caught the garter.... and he DIDN'T act like a gentleman...

after that, and other questionable garter/bo-k experiences, I would NEVER do a garter toss at my reception..... It may be in good fun, but mixed with alcohol, it's too much of a wild-card....

I am wearing one (two actually - one to keep, one to toss).

We're doing the toss, but NOT the 'put the garter on the girl who caught the bo-k' thing. No no no.

I'm not doing a garter toss, and I'm not wearing a 'garter,' although I'm probably going to wear a garter belt, to hold up my stockings. I was going to wear a merry widow with stocking straps, but now it seems I'm going to go with cups in my gown. So I either now need to buy a garter belt, hold-ups, or pantyhose. Maybe I'll just go with the pantyhose, garter belts tend to fall down...

doing a bo-k toss, and just a garter removal. I HAD to get a garter for each of FH's teams...Yankees, Steelers and Georgia Bulldogs. So he's gonna have to remove all three.

Not a fan of the garter toss, then the winners of each toss having to do that awkward putting on the garter thing...

can I tell you how much that made me question the groom's judgement and values!!! This is his BEST FRIEND!!! I could have clubbed the guy for disrespecting my mom!!!
