A friend is going there on vacation by herself. She's in her 40's. She wants suggestions on good clubs to go to. The only one I've ever heard of is Senor Frogs and I someone told me its a very young crown and very touristy and other ideas?

Daddy O's (Disco) and Daddy Rocks (Rock bands) are two clubs that are also very popular in Cancun on the strip..it is also a young crowd, though. I liked Daddy Rocks much better.

Coco Bongo is also a pretty good club! and than there's Fat Tuesdays. I don't know how safe it is for a woman to be there alone though! There is also a more dressier club Kristine's, I believe that is in the Krystal hotel. It depends what time of year you go on how young the crowd is. As long as you don't go between March and June it's not too bad!

Not to burst her bubble...

but Cancun is a very young crowd all year long! I would suggest she stay on an upscale property like Club Med.

Not to burst her bubble...

Club Med is so far away from everything!!! It's like 20 mins. down the strip! There are so many nicer places to stay like the Fiesta Americana, the Krystal or even something like the Melia Turquesa! I've been there 7 times and I also am in the travel industry...trust me...it's a great time as long as your not there during spring break or graduation trips!
