Not fair

I'm finally going away to Florida this weekend to visit friends and I just checked out the weather there and it says scattered storms for all 4 days we will be there
Here I am thinking about what a great tan I will get , now all it looks like I will get is frizzy hair
Can someone do a no rain dance for me????

That's florida weather in June - we learned last year The bright side is their storms last about 30 minutes or so and then the sun comes back out so it probably won't be as bad as it seems.

Have fun!!

I agree. FL can have very intense rain storms, but often they only last for a matter of minutes. We experienced this a few times in Disney last year. Hope you have a wonderful time.

Could be worse - we're going all the way to Alaska for my cousin's wedding and the 2 days we're going north to Denali Park to see Mt. McKinley the weather looks to be really iffy. Unless the weather changes it looks like we may never see the mountain due to clouds I just bought a new camera so I could take great scenery shots and I'm afraid it will just be foggy looking.

I was JUST in Florida, Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando and we ahd the same forecast and I have a GREAT tan. Scattered T- Storms means this....it may or may not rain...it usually rians in the evening....also, the weahter is weird in florida, it can rain across the street and be sunny where you are. In Ft. Lauderdale we went to the beach (20 min from FH's aunt's house), we had PERFECT sunny, cloudless day. We drove back to hsi aunt's house where it was still rainingand she siad 'I'm sorry your beach day was rained out, with all of these storms all day!' haha..and we had a perfect day! The storms are usually in the afternoon and pass pretty quickly. No worries! We had scatter t storms every day at disney world, too. It did rian most days, but never for more than an hour, and the rest of the time it was sunny! it'll be great!
