not from LI...need nice place the take pics in Hempstead

our ceremony is in Hempstead and we need someplace nice to take or pics before the reception....any suggestions??

I work at Hofstra University... The campus is beautiful.

I cannot really recommend any place in Hempstead but there are many parks that are local

Nothing in Hempstead particularly, but Hofstra and Adelphi Universites are close...perhaps the campus gorunds can be used? Also, Eishenhower Park and the EAB Plaza are close....

Maybe go to Eisenhower park. I dont think there will be anywhere park like in the actual city of hempstead- but eisenhower is close by. Also westbury gardens isn't too far away either!

Garden City Gazebo is very close to Hempstead

thats a really good idea...

eta - if you go this route, find out when students move into the dorms.. you may have a lot of families milling around campus, activites set up, etc..
