Not happy with JCPenney registry - is it my fault??????
So my FMIL says Amy I want you to do a registry at Macys and another place of your choice (shes really sweet and is helping me out) So I pick JCPenney. Then she says I want you to put what you want for your apartment on there.. Nothings too big, put down the couch, beds, tables etc - So I basically put down things from a couch to a tomato slicer....
I go to JCP today to just see what they have and they have the registry computer there. I go to show my mom and it says the entertainment center that I put on there for $599 was $999!!! It wasnt on sale when I put it on there. I was in a rush so havent asked them anything yet.... but it seems that some of us brides dont know what it comes up as in the store. Online at home its one thing and in the store its another? I was embarrased to even put a thousand dollar gift on there. I thought 500 was enough!!!

yes... this has happened to me, especially with my china. I think it happens a lot with the department stores.. what they have online may be less expensive in the store,... It's soo unfair....
It is really frustrating...

actually it was opposite - online it was much cheaper. In the store was WAY more expensive

Unfortunately, I think this is the way registries operate. I purposely registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond because they price match. So let's say Fortunoff's is having a sale on my china where you get the soup bowl for free, BBB will honor that if you tell them. Also, they accept Linens and Things coupons on the registry.

Thats crazy! its never happened to me....but ive heard it happends all the time!!! I dont think theres anything u can do :(

They basically said Oops. They are going to go higher up and try to get them to fix it or something. I dont know... I think its a way to make more $$
