Since FH and I decided to get married in June which is only 4 months of REAL planning time for us, I have a feeling I'm not going to have a shower.
My mom just isn't the type to take it upon herself to throw a shower, nor is the rest of my family and FH's family is out of the question.
I'm kinda bummed about it....I was looking forward to getting muffin tins, silverwear, plates and all that other good stuff. Not to mention FH and I could REALLY use it.
Just wondering how many other gals out there aren't having a shower. Are you guys bummed?

my friend got engaged in april and married at the beginning of august, and she still had a shower. it can be done. either your bridal party or maybe work people would/could throw you one.

Don't be bummed. It's your wedding and if you want to have a shower, I say go for it. A friend of FH got engaged back in April and got married in August. She had a shower. Talk to your mom and bm and ask them to help you with it. I'm sure they wont turn you down.

I'll probably have a small shower in NY, but I currently go to school out of state and a lot of my girlfriends are spread across the country. FMIL lives out here but I highly doubt she'll throw me a shower here

I doubt there'll be much of a shower. A friend is planning a party two nights before the wedding, but as for muffin tins....I think I'm out of luck. Everyone is too spread around the country. Kinda bummed, but that's life!
